All of us who served in rank and ratings close to sonar are indebted to this web site's creator, James (Jimmy) Heimstead who passed away on January 8, 2000. Jimmy was a long time member of the NSA. This page is but one memorial to all of our Sonar Brethren whose pings have been silenced. Your input is welcome.
